What you get for your entry

When registering online, you will have the opportunity to select your singlet size in the drop down menu. Please ensure you select the correct size from the sizing chart below.

Please note: No changes can be made to your size once you
have registered, so please select carefully.

Race Number
Your timing chip is integrated within your actual race number. This means that you do not need to have a seperate timing device attached to your shoe or anywhere else. Your timing chip is a part of your race number. So please do not lose your number. A new one will incur a $30 fee.

Electronic Timing Chip

All Brisbane Running Festival events will utilise intraining Race Management's WINDAG electronic timing system. Electronic antennas at the finish line will automatically recognise your timing chip and record your race finish time. This will enable your personal results to be published on the Brisbane Running Festival website within 3 days.

Sponsors Goodies

As well as the above items, your race pack will also include some items from Brisbane Running Festival Sponsors.

Finishers Prizes

All finishers will receive a Commemorative Finishers Medal for the Brisbane Running Festival. This is a high quality medal that will mark your achievement. Have your time, and event engraved on the back of the medal at the finish line.

Common Timing Chip Questions
Is the timing chip heavy?
NO, the timing chip weighs no more than 5g, and it is integrated into your race number.

Where do I wear my timing chip?
In order for your time to be recorded accurately you are required to wear your timing chip either pinned on to your race singlet or attached with a race number belt ON YOUR FRONT ONLY.

Do I need to hand my timing chip back in?
In order to reduce the number of people in the race recovery area after your event, we do not require the race numbers to be handed back in after use. No need to worry about someone trying to take your chip off your foot when you have just finished the race! Simply grab your refreshments and chat about your race!

Can I wear my timing chip on my back?
NO, in order for your time to be recognised by the timing system, it needs to be placed on the front of your singlet. If it is on your back, your time may not be recorded.

Can I carry my number across the line in my hand?
If you carry your number across the line please be careful not to scrunch or bend the number too much, as the timing chip is located in your number this may be damaged and result in your time not being recorded. Please ensure that when you come across the line that you hold your number facing forwards for the timing system to pick up your finish time.

REMEMBER, NO NUMBER - NO TIME!
Please note: intraining Race Management will do everything possible to ensure that each and every competitor receives a time from the electronic timing system. Past races have shown 99% accuracy picking up participants. However, as technology is never 100% we do not guarantee all competitors will receive a time. We apologise for this in advance.
